Press M and the whole plas opens up in front of you, north up, with everything on it that holds still: the seven hire harbours, the ranger's hut, the dive zone and its buoys, all twelve zandeilanden, and the three plassen named where they actually are.
The corner map stayed heading-up and got wider, because what you are about to hit is usually off to one side rather than straight ahead. Both maps blip the other boats: other players in pink, the water police in blue, the ranger in amber, the chip boat in red.
And the other boats say who they are now. Names float over them, with a bar that tells you how much hull they have left.
