Anyone can sail now.
Until this morning, sailing on a shared plas needed a passcode, a leftover from when the whole thing was a test build for a handful of friends, and one we kept asking for long after the lake had gone public. It is gone. Pick a plas, press Sail here, and you are on the water with whoever else is out there.
The screen where you pick has been rebuilt at the same time. It was the first thing anyone saw and the last thing that still looked like paperwork: bare text and dotted lines, left over from when the hire desk was a printed letter. It now looks like the game it opens: sunset, neon, the same console the hire desk uses. Every plas is a row with the number of boats already out on it, so you can see where the company is before you commit.
And it speaks Dutch now, before you join rather than after. The NL/EN toggle in the corner works on this screen too, which sounds like a small thing until you are the one reading English at the front door of a game set in Vinkeveen.
